Let music be the power of caring

The Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra has been committed to serving the community through Chinese music by making music available to all and in particular, by spreading the message of ‘caring and concern’ through music. The fundraising concert of this season brings together Raymond Young, former Permanent Secretary for HomeAffairs who is famous for his fine voice among top government officials (or “The Singing King among AO’s”), and Teresa Cheung Tak-lan, singer with an amazing range and solid delivery who has been singing professionally since she was a little girl. Together they will belt out golden oldies of the 1970s and 1980s, themes and scores from motion pictures and television series with timeless appeal. On wings of their songs, let us revisit the good old days of Hong Kong and at the same time, look forward to the future. Education empowers - we invite you to contribute to the good cause and help those in need in our community with your generous support.
